Siorne John (b. 1993, Pasadena, CA) is an artist, photographer, and teacher based in Los Angeles. He has worked since 2008 as a counselor, director, teacher, and mentor for children of all ages, in a variety of schools, camps, and organizations. He worked as a freelance photographer, and studied photography, music, and design at Pasadena City College before attending ArtCenter. He works in multiple mediums including photography, video, sound, animation and collage. Siorne’s work is inspired by ideas of audio - visualization, fluxus, chance, improvisation, and exploring struggle with his own humanity. Siorne graduated with a Bachelors in Photography and Imaging from Art Center College of Design in the summer of 2022. He was the runner up for the ArtCenter student leadership award, and was awarded ArtCenter Honors, a tuition free term of independent study which he will complete in Fall 2022. He is currently exploring a body of work surrounding the sound of the human heart.
